Each QR code contains a cryptographically signed token unique to your product. When scanned, our system verifies the signature against your tenant's signing key. If it matches and hasn't been flagged, the product is confirmed authentic.
Copying the visual QR code is easy, but our fraud detection catches duplicates. When the same code is scanned from impossible locations (like NYC and LA within minutes), we flag it. Repeated bulk scanning patterns also trigger alerts.

What BYO NFC adds is a unique registered identifier per unit plus detection: we flag copying, reuse, impossible-travel, and lifecycle violations across both QR and NFC.
